I’ve never paid too much attention to the technical difficulties and creative possibilities of scenic play when it comes to a motion picture. Although cinematography is an important element of audiovisual storytelling, I always find the directing of the story itself must be the most important detail to engage my interest.
So when it comes to the music video “Tighten Me Up” by the up-and-coming duo modern beatnicks The Black Keys, the camera play is simple and nothing extraordinary, but it is the illustration of the song acted by two boys and and a girl in a playground park that caught my attention with awe over their uber-cuteness. Other than that, the song itself is quite beat-thumping catchy.
