My Violainé Morning – The Next Episode of This World

My Violainé Morning is an Indonesian experimental shoegaze band based in Bandung, Indonesia. Formed on 2004, they are claiming their sounds as a comprising indie sound scape influenced by experimental shoegaze and post-rock with an ambient dominated and exclusion of delaying guitar. Almost on all of their songs, the band taking every single common instrument into a flowing delay harmonization. Combining two different sound character, wet hard distortion covered up by sparkling clean delaying guitar which we can hear them in many band in early 90’s.

Last year, an album titled The Next Episode of This World released. The album are their first studio album, after releasing two EPs couple years before. With 9 original tracks and one remix version by Telegraph Reverb, My Violainé Morning release The Next Episode of This World after signing contract with a Japanese label Happy Prince. Their music, as they described on their neat web site, are inspired from early 90’s shoegaze scene like My Bloody Valentine, Cocteau Twins, Slowdive, Ride, and Bandung local shoegaze hero, The Milo. They’re also admit, that many British band such as The Cure, The Smiths, U2, and Radiohead gave huge influence for establishing their sound.
